Strategic Partnerships
The attractiveness and success of a financial center rely heavily on its openness and on its connectivity to the world. Therefore, CFC includes in its key development areas the conclusion of partnerships with international financial centers.
CFC partnerships development strategy takes into consideration two key dimensions:
geographic diversification in order to strengthen CFC’s connectivity with key financial centers in all continents, and diversification of areas of cooperation in order to foster the exchange of expertise and capitalize on its partners’ best practices.
Actions of cooperation
Regarding cooperation actions, the partnership with Singapore allowed CFC to benefit from Singapore’s large expertise in the financial sector, in particular through the set up of a strategic roadmap aimed to improve the competitiveness of the national capital market.
Our Singaporean partner was also highly involved in the organization of the “International Conference on Arbitration” held on April 12, 2012 in Casablanca and offered its support for the organization of an international tour in May 2012 for the benefit of the Judges of the Casablanca Commercial Court.
Regarding the cooperation with our European partners, CFC organized working visits for Moroccan delegations to Luxembourg and the City of London. These visits enabled Moroccan authorities and key players in the financial sector to exchange expertise and best practices with their counterparts in the two financial centers.
