Morocco’s aspiration for Africa
Morocco’s commitment for Africa’s development has been translated into facts shortly after the country’s independence. Thus in 1960, the Casablanca Conference brought together, under the aegis of the late King Mohammed V, key African leaders, paving the way for the setting up, two years later in Addis Ababa, of the former Organization of African Union (OAU).
