Casablanca is also a mythical city that is part of the collective memory thanks to the renowned movie where Humphrey Bogart plays the character of the owner of an upscale club. The apparently tough insensitive character is actually a heartbroken subtle man.
Casablanca is like this character. It can be so frenetic and at the same time so comfortable and enjoyable.
After a day of work or shopping, you will be spoilt for choice to have dinner in ultra-chic restaurants offering the finest cuisine and delicacies like “Le Cabestan” and its breath-taking view of the ocean, “Le rouget de l’isle” and its shaded tables, the trendy “Key West” or “La Maison Blanche” which is worth trying. If you want to immerse in the Casablanca movie scenery, there is no better place than “Rick’s Café”. In short, you will definitely find something for your taste, whether you are Moroccan or foreign visitor.
Casablanca is also welcoming for socialites and culture lovers. Its many palaces, museums, exhibition halls and clubs bring cultural life to the heart of the city. 24 hours are not enough to visit all the city’s cultural centers, libraries, museums and theaters (Mohammed VI theatre, Abderrahman Slaoui Foundation Museum, La Villa des Arts, the former slaughterhouse transformed in a cultural space, I- Max 3D theatre, the Anfa cultural complex, the French Institute, Casa Del Arte, Twin Center Auditorium, the Goethe Cultural Center, Instituto Cervantes, the Studio of Performing Arts…)
