DAY 1 OPENING CEREMONY
A quick wrap-up from 1st and 2nd days of the GKA kite-surf World Tour in Dakhla 2017! On the first day we had the opening ceremony where riders had a chance to meet and greet Dakhla’s officials who every year support GKA Dakhla competition. On the second day we had some good action during trial heats and new competition combo format – wave riding and strapless freestyle – was agreed.
DAY 3 COMPETITION
The main competition started on the 3rd day of GKA kite-surf World Tour Dakhla 2017. The wind this day was the strongest during all event days so the riders were throwing some great action on the water.
DAY 4 FINALS
Atmosphere of GKA kite-surf World Tour Dakhla 2017 was charged with emotion, action and passion. Intense final heats between riders and Mitu Montero wins the event!

DAY 5 EXPRESSION SESSION, CLOSING CEREMONY AND AFTER PARTY
The final day of the GKA kite-surf World Tour Dakhla 2017. From expression session in front of Westpoint Dakhla hotel to closing ceremony and after party. This event was a blast for sure!

The second stage of the GKA Kite-Surf World tour with be held in Dakhla Morocco from the 18th to the 23rd of July 2017.

18/7/17
09.00 -12:00 Registration
12 pm: Official opening ceremony, with the presence of the authorities of the region. a show of all the riders in the water with their kite will be realised
13.30 Skippers Meeting. Mandatory for all riders.
14.30 First Possible Start
20:30 Openning Ceremony
19 & 20/07/2017
Organization of an initiation to kite-surf for children and young people of the region in the company of the Riders, on the site of the competition. A session with autographs and dedications with the riders
Organization of a beach cleanliness operation with children, Riders and Journalists.
23/7/17
20:00 Closing Ceremony. Mandatory for all riders
All riders please remember all skipers meetings, media meetings and ceremonias are mandatory.

Ranking
Top 12 Pre qualified riders will be released after the Tarifa results.

For the 2017 Dakhla event we will have 25.000€ price money

Free accommodation for the Top 12 riders (male) and Top 3 riders (female) of the current 2017 ranking in double rooms – from the day before inscription through one day after the event. In case no official ranking exists, free accommodation will be draw among the riders.
